SUMMARY:Call for Panelists: The new Gilded Age: How should we Govern AI?
DESCRIPTION:Northglenn High School STEM Coordinator Allison Staton is seeking panelists for this discussion. If you’re interested\, please reach out to Allison at Allison.L.Dopler@adams12.org. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nFriday\, November 6\, 2026 \n\n\n\nSession 1 (7:40-9:25 am) -Need 7 Panelists \n\n\n\nSession 2 (10:25-1:20 pm) -Need 6 Panelists \n\n\n\nSession 3 (1:25-3:10 pm) -Need 20 Panelists \n\n\n\nToday\, artificial intelligence is being developed and deployed faster than laws\, institutions\, and public understanding can keep up. A small number of companies control the data\, and talent needed to build AI systems\, giving them outsized influence over technologies that are reshaping labor markets\, information ecosystems\, and decision-making in areas like healthcare\, criminal justice\, and education. What role should government play in ensuring that AI development serves the public interest rather than concentrating power and risk in the hands of a few? How do we build regulatory and civic structures that promote innovation while protecting equity\, safety\, and democratic accountability? \n\n\n\nGovernments and communities need a way to manage the rapid growth of AI because its increasing concentration of power\, wealth\, and decision-making could create societal problems similar to those experienced during the Gilded Age.

SUMMARY:SME Chapter Meeting - Aerospace Parts
DESCRIPTION:Explore how modern additive manufacturing is enabling flight‑ready aerospace components through the use of high‑performance polymers engineered for strength\, temperature resistance\, and long‑term stability. This session will examine where these advanced materials fit into real aerospace workflows. From environmental ducting and electrical enclosures to tooling\, brackets\, and low‑volume structural parts. \n\n\n\nWe’ll compare polymer AM to traditional manufacturing approaches\, highlighting when lightweight\, chemically resistant\, or electrically specialized materials offer clear advantages. The discussion will also cover what it takes to print reliable\, certifiable components\, including process control\, material qualification\, and the documentation required for aerospace and defense programs. \n\n\n\nA valuable opportunity to connect with peers and see how next‑generation polymers are expanding what’s possible in flight‑ready additive manufacturing
