Join a group of more than 300 business leaders\, aerospace professionals\, entrepreneurs\, community leaders\, and students to have fun and learn about new opportunities\, new startups\, and what your neighboring aerospace companies are busy working on\, all while getting to explore some of Colorado’s best breweries and other venues!  \n\n\n\nWe will be hosting this happy hour at a special place: the Birdie Bar\, which is a Golf Themed bar\, complete with golf simulators available for rent and free miniature golf. Feel free to bring your own clubs. The Birdie Bar can provide clubs upon request.  \n\n\n\nThe owner of the Birdie Bar\, Sonya Starr\, previously worked in aerospace and focused on strategy alignment\, organizational change management\, program and project management\, product development\, portfolio management\, and team engagement at Maxar and other organizations.

True to the address’s namesake\, the facility reflects Opterus’ commitment to advancing our nation’s aerospace capabilities. \n\n\n\nThe relocation expands both Opterus’ physical footprint and its technical capacity\, enabling the company to scale its space structures and deployable systems in size and production rate. The new facility features the largest space-grade composite production ovens in Colorado\, a high-bay test area for large deployable systems\, and upgraded environmental controls to support precision manufacturing. \n\n\n\nWith these enhancements\, Opterus is positioned to deliver at higher volumes while preserving the agility that defines its research and development efforts. The investment also elevates cleanliness standards and reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality components and subsystems at scale. \n\n\n\nTo celebrate the opening\, Opterus will host an open house on Thursday\, June 11\, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM\, with a ribbon-cutting taking place at 4:00 PM.
