Please review the volunteer opportunities below and complete the form at the bottom.  You will be contacted with volunteer opportunities within two weeks from the committee chair.
 
Any CSBR Member in good standing can be a committee member.  When you volunteer for a committee with the Colorado Space Business Roundtable, it gives you the opportunity to gain valuable experience, meet new people, take-away new ideas, develop fresh skills and make a contribution to your industry, your profession and your community.  


Members are highly encouraged to sign up for at least one committee. Meetings are held as determined by the Committee Chair on an as-needed basis.

• You must commit to attending conference calls/meetings of your committee.
• You must complete tasks/projects for which you volunteer for the committee.
• Show your support by participating in programs involving your committee.
• Committee members are expected to serve for at least one year.
• Committee service is strictly on a volunteer basis.
• You must be an active member in good standing.

Volunteer Opportunities

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting new members and working to retain current members. The Committee promotes membership at all programs and participate in member outreach on a quarterly basis.  The committee also creates and implements a membership development and retention plan. Commitment: One to two hours per month.           

Marketing / Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is responsible for publishing the bi-monthly CSBR newsletter; posting to all social media accounts; oversight for the chapter website and calendar of events.  The committee also promotes CSBR activities to the membership and the public through marketing and public relations. All CSBR Members are encouraged to share, repost, and comment on all CSBR content. As a unique community we rely on organic grassroots communication strategies to penetrate the wider community to promote what we do. Commitment: Two to three hours per month with participation in Teams calls and other activities.

Round Up Committee

The Round Up Committee will oversee and manage the entire event process from content development and logistics to execution of the premiere event. The 2024 Colorado Space Roundup is December 4th. Responsibilities include determining and coordinating panels; identifying and inviting keynote speakers; socializing registration and sponsorship opportunities. The Committee holds brainstorming meetings to determine program topics and speakers. The focus is on creating high-quality educational and networking opportunities for our members. Commitment: Two to three hours per month, depends on level of participation.

Strategic Partnerships / Sponsorships Committee

Responsible for managing the strategic relationships of the organization in order to maintain on-going mutual support efforts within the space community.  Sponsorship is an integral part of our organization.  This position will be responsible for coordinating sponsors for the annual Roundup and making sure those sponsors receive appropriate recognition throughout the year. Join the sponsorship team to assist with soliciting new sponsors and continuing our organization’s growth. Commitment: One to two hours per month.  

Events / Activities Committee

Responsible for managing special events of the CSBR organization which includes Beer, Brats and Burgers; Aerospace Exchanges and other ad-hoc events. The Events & Activities Committee designs several events per year that bring members together in a social or virtual environment.  They are responsible for working within the established budget and soliciting sponsorships to underwrite each event, in addition to marketing these events to the members. Commitment: One to two hours per month (varies but as we get closer to the events, hours will increase). 

Road Trip Committee

Responsible for planning and executing the CSBR Road Trip Activities.  Will identify areas of the state where we can make a difference and connect with resources along with supply chain members in these areas.  We will also work with regional and state officials to educate them on the importance of aerospace and all that it provides.  In addition, we will connect with educators and students that have an interest in furthering space careers. Commitment: One-three hours per month (hours to increase as events approach).  

Internship Committee

Responsible for planning and executing the CSBR Internship Program & Teacher Academy. Commitment:  One to two hours per month.  

J.E.D.I Space Committee

We will elevate the impact and inclusiveness of our members and we will transform our technologies’ impact on the environment and how we engender our earth for future sustainability.
