What CSBR Road Trips Offer
CSBR road trips are immersive one or two-day experiences designed to:
- Promote Colorado Aerospace statewide
- Identify potential suppliers and subcontractors
- Engage educators and STEM outreach efforts in local communities
They typically include site tours (e.g., aerospace companies, universities, energy facilities), networking receptions, panels, and community engagement events.

Northeast Colorado Aerospace Workforce and Suppliers Meeting
Sponsors: Northeastern Junior College | CSBR
October 21, 2025 | Noon – 2 PM
Purpose:
- To share aerospace workforce opportunities with high school and college students as well as with manufacturers and potential suppliers on how to engage and do business with the aerospace industry. The aerospace industry is extremely diverse and needs a broad range of suppliers, we hope you can join us!

1. Grand Junction (West Slope)

Thursday, Sept 4:
- Tour CMU Tech at Colorado Mesa University
- Visit SG Aerospace & Gas and facility West Star Aviation
- Evening veteran networking reception
Friday, Sept 5:
- Golf fundraising event at Tiara Rado Golf Course for STEM scholarships
Goal: Blend industry tours, networking, and support of rural STEM education.
2. Sterling / Northeastern Colorado
Dates: June 17–18, 2025
Highlights:
- Panel discussions focused on regional entrepreneurship, clean energy, and workforce development
- Company and college site visits (e.g., NJC Tech Campus)
- Workforce tours including a wind farm stop
- Community dinner and engaging with regional stakeholders
Purpose: Regional economic transition, including from coal to renewables, connecting aerospace to broader local development.
3. Alamosa
Dates: August 14-15, 2025
Highlights:
- Location: Holiday Inn & Suites Alamosa, 3418 Mariposa Street, Alamosa, CO 81101

Purpose: Exploring Colorado’s aerospace landscape in rural and emerging areas.
4. Steamboat Springs
Dates: September 9–10, 2025

Purpose: Exploring Colorado’s aerospace landscape in rural and emerging areas.
How to Get Involved
- Registration: Participants register through CSBR, transportation is often coordinated via carpool or van pool, though you can self-drive.
- Cost: There’s typically no fee to participate—though attendees manage their own travel and lodging expenses. Sponsors may get added perks.
- Participation Options: Join the full road trip or attend specific segments if you prefer.
